Students in grades 3rd-5th will be participating in FitnessGram® testing. They will be assessed both in the beginning and end of the year to see how they progress throughout the school year!

PacerThe FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The running speed starts slowly but gets faster each minute The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, the test is finished.
Sit and ReachThis is a measure of flexibility in the hamstrings and lower back.

Curl-UpThe curl-up abdominal fitness test requires the subjects to perform as many curl-ups as possible following a set cadence. This test measures abdominal strength and endurance.

Push-UpIn this test, the maximum number of push up performed at a rate of one every three seconds is recorded. This test measures upper body strength and endurance.
