We switched to our Art special this week! We were festive in making our own pumpkins. The students worked on naming their primary colors and mixing them together to form the secondary colors. We learned just how powerful red was (just a dab!) when mixed with yellow to make orange. We drew basic shapes: squares, rectangles, circles, etc. for the faces of our pumpkins and cut them out and glued them on. I think the Kindergarteners are really going to enjoy art this quarter!
