We have kicked off our Jump Rope for Heart Activities, and the kids are having a blast! They started with our first group of stations in the beginning of the week. We had 6. I would have to say they seemed to enjoy the long rope the most or the big twirl and jump one! 1. Agility ladders (3-5) and Mini Hurdles (K-2) 2. Single Rope Practice with Pictures 3. Standing Long Jump 4. Twirl and Jump Rope 5. Hopscotch (K-2) and Partner Jump Cards (3-5) 6. Long Rope Practice. The second half of the week we did choice stations where they could choose where they would go as long as another group wasn't there. We worked on: 1. Box Jumps with steppers 2. Single Jump Practice 3. Jump Rope Rainbow Challenge with Pictures 4. Standing Long Jump 5. Twirl and Jump 6. ABCs of Jump Rope 7. Long Rope Practice 8. Older kids were introduced to Double Dutch
