Monday the 22nd kicked off snowday #4! Followed by a 2 hour delay on Tuesday! Kdg.-2nd GradersMs. Gauthier/Sylvia's group was able to take advantage of our snow that we received and were able to try out our snowshoes! What a process it is to get snowshoes on 1st graders. So many smiles and laughs when they were trying to walk made it absolutely worth it though! Most classes had only one day of PE this week with our schedule and what that we introduced Jump Rope for Heart. We watched our intro video, ran our stick races (if we missed them last week) and began trying some jump rope tricks! 3rd-5th GradersMs. Lapp's class was also one of the lucky ones to have class after the fresh snow, and was able to snowshoe. The older students were much more successful and so many asked when we could do it again! As soon as we can stay above 0 and keep snow on the ground (it seems to either be so cold or be warm and melt the snow this year!) Classes that had PE the rest of the week watched the Jump Rope for Heart intro video, made up their Pacer (if they missed due to weather last week), played Hockey Mini Games, or began some jump rope tricks. I cannot wait for next week, when all of the classes will be on the same page, fingers crossed for no snowdays!
